Food Drive for COS
This is an exciting time at Community Outreach Services (COS). March 2026 marks the non-profit
organization’s state of Maine incorporation 35 years ago! Initiated in 1991 by Holy Cross Lutheran Church and
nine other area church congregations united in purpose, our struggling neighbors are lifted up by COS’s
continuous community presence providing direct life-saving food, fuel aid and meeting special needs.
Plans are underway for public Open Houses at the Park Street facility in April to celebrate the 35th anniversary,
including launch of a new COS branding logo! Watch for announcements to learn more.
Meanwhile, please focus on March donations of following non-perishable Food Pantry items in short supply:
¤ Canned peaches
¤ Canned pears
¤ Applesauce
¤ Canned carrots
¤ Canned or boxed soup, all varieties
¤ Granulated sugar for baking
Donations may be left in the Narthex for later transport to COS. Thank you!
