We are in the process of reinstituting the ministry of Lectors at Holy Cross. The lector is the person responsible for reading the first two bible lessons and the psalm at Sunday Worship. This is a good choice for people who would like to read the lessons, but do not wish to be worship assistants. As a lector, you would simply leave your seat to go to the podium to read, then return to your seat at worship when finished. To be a lector, you need only be an attendee who is able to read the lessons well and commit... |
