DESCRIPTION:Here is some information about the ordination of Amy Dunckelmann on September 14th\, the Feast of the Holy Cross. \nThe ceremony will be held at Holy Cross and will be a celebration of Holy Communion at 4PM on the 14th.\nA reception of heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served after the ceremony. \nPlease reserve the small parking lot adjacent to the church for those with accessibility needs. \nTHERE WILL BE NO MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE ON THE 14TH.\nTHE 4PM ORDINATION WILL BE OUR ONLY SUNDAY WORSHIP ON THE 14TH. \nAs with our Sunday service\, the ordination will be broadcast live on our YouTube channel:\nHoly Cross Lutheran Church \nAt Synod ordinations\, it is customary for the offertory collection to go to the Bishop’s Fund.\nHowever\, since Amy’s ordination is taking place at our congregation’s Sunday worship\, the collection offerings will be kept by the congregation. \nIn a spirit of gratitude and shared mission\, I encourage you\, as you are able\, to make a donation to the Bishop’s fund at the ordination ceremony\, in addition to your regular pledge offering to Holy Cross. You may do so by placing your Bishop’s Fund offering in a marked envelope\, or if paying by check\, designating the “Bishop’s Fund” on the memo line of the check.
