The next book discussion will be on the book “But There Were Signs” by Georgia Curtis Ling. This fictional book follows four pastors’ wives turned amateur sleuths playing a deadly game of cat and mouse with a suspected killer in Appalachia. The book is available on Amazon and Kindle. We will meet on Thursday, September 17 at 6pm for a discussion. There will be a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the narthex.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL - Starts September 20 We are offering an Adult Sunday School before worship, starting at 8:30am. The theme of the weekly study is “Theology for Daily Living”. What do you believe about God, humankind, church, and the world? Do your beliefs in these affect your actions, attitudes, and thinking? This class is a survey of foundational theological truths and will connect these truths to daily living. In other words, these theological truths should inform how we live and how we think in regard to practical matters, e.g. money, suffering, freedom, independence, etc.
Weekly worship service with Holy Communion. Please join us for coffee hour after the service in Luther Hall.
