You are a child of God . . . And I'll treat you that way!
4 Parts of the LOGOS Weekly Program
The Four parts of the Program have been chosen with purpose. Following the example of the first Christians, the LOGOS Program provides an arena in which the four primary elements present in the life of the first Christians can be experienced every week.
Everyone participates in all four parts every week. Relationships are built between young people, between young people and adults, and most importantly between each individual and God.
The experience of living together in Christian community gives each person the opportunity to practice living as Jesus taught. We learn to treat each other as children of God. We learn what it means to respect each other and how to forgive. What is learned in Bible study is practiced in the other three parts of the Program. The whole experience is one of theology and practice.

Worship Skills
The Goal of Worship Skills is to develop responsibility for and practice in worship skills because worship is our primary service to God as disciples.
Worship is essential and central to the Christian community. In Worship Skills young people learn about worship and prepare to lead in the Sunday morning service of worship. Often this is done through a singing choir. Other times bell choir, speaking choir or drama are included.
Family Time
The Goal of Family Time is to provide a joyous, intergenerational celebration of personhood over a shared meal as we experience being the family of God.
Young people are assigned to tables along with one or two adults who act as "table parents." The group around the table becomes a family as they share meals together during the year. Food is served family style. Conversation is purposeful. Birthdays are celebrated.
Bible Study
The goal of Bible study is to nurture youth and children into intelligent, obedient, and biblically-informed discipleship.
In grade level groups, each class uses a curriculum that is appropriate to their age group. Our 7-8 graders currently use LOGOS for their confiration studies. The 4-6 graders user a a differant bible study each week
Recreation/Play Time
The Goal of Recreation/Play Time is to experience great fun at the expense of no one else.
Young people participate in active play, do crafts, or experience the sharing of a hobby or special interest by a member of the congregation. When we reveal ourselves in play, we strengthen friendships and when conflicts occur, we practice our theology.
